This policy explains what personal data Rowan & Salt collects and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you order we collect your name, delivery address, email and, where needed, phone number, to fulfil and deliver your order. Payment is handled directly by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. If you contact us we keep a record of that correspondence.
Who we share it with
Only what is needed to run the shop: your name and delivery address go to the supplier who dispatches your order; payments are processed by Stripe; order emails are sent through AhaSend. These providers act on our instructions. We keep order records for six years for tax and consumer-law reasons. We do not sell your data or use it for marketing unless you opt in.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how it is used. Contact us to do this. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
This site uses only the essential cookies needed to run the shop, including your basket and account login. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
